Need a new V
Decided that Vargouille was too synonymous with D&D so I need a new one. I've changed other ones before but can't decide to what so i'm going to let you decide what you think will look cool!
Got 5 options. Source of info from http://www.mythicalcreatureslist.com/index.php
1. Velue - A creature from France whose name translates as ‘Shaggy Beast’. The Velue was a green haired creature from French myth that has suckers coming from the sides of its body. It uses this suckers to attack and sting its victims. It had a long tail, enormous feet and the head of a snake
2. Vulpangue - A serpent that has the head of a fox from Andean legends. Similar to Hide and Cuero.
3. Volkodlak - The Volkodlak is the name of the Werewolf from the mythology of Russia, Bulgaria, Slovakia, Czech Republic and Romania.
4. Virupaksha - The pure white winged elephant of Indian mythology. It is the mount of the god Indra who was stunned by its beauty. Airavata has the ability to suck up the water of the earth and spray over all the land creating rain, which was its gift to man.
5. Vithafnir - The golden cockerel of Norse mythology that sits on top of Yggdrasil the world tree. It sits there watching out for the signs of Ragnarok- the end of days.

O, R, S and Y
Couldn't sleep so decided to come through and draw some more!
Redrew the Yeti... again.
O is Orthus
R is Ruamano (a magical Mako shark, I know, awesome right?)
S is Spriggan - The first version was too creepy but keeping that for a future painting.
Y is Yeti obvs :)

O and Q
Well, came up with some probs as I felt my original name choices for 2.0 didn't work well. Too humanid, plus a human with a whale's head is going to look stupid no matter what you do.
Here's O and Q.
O is Orthrus and Q is Quikinna'qu

Fantasy Alphabet Redraw
I have spoken to the editor of ImagineFX and due to a last minute editing change the Fantasy Alphabet is being put out in Issue 87 which is available in the UK from the 17th of August.
Due to work commitments i've been unable to update since the file go byebye debacle so going full steam with it now. I was able to retrieve some of the sketches from the blog but no full res art or psds so will be recolouring and redrawing.
Here's how it's looking as of today and will be updated as much as possible so please keep your eyes on my twitter feed @rowenaaitken and on the blog.
Hope you like how it's all going!
